About the role
Provides professional, competent, safe, appropriate care in the collection of blood samples from patients, ranging in age from newborn and elderly. Manatee Memorial Hospital offers a Level II Neonatal Intensive Care Unit for babies with special needs and has the only Pediatric Center hospital-based outpatient multidisciplinary pediatric therapy center in Manatee County.
Responsibilities
- Maintains a professional, cooperative interaction with all hospital departments, medical staff, and the public in keeping with the mission and philosophy of Manatee Health.
- Demonstrates Service Excellence at all times.
- Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Phlebotomy National Certification recognized by the State of Florida
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Minimum of two (2) years of Phlebotomy experience
