Sr Permitting Specialist

About the role

The Senior Specialist position carries a high level of responsibility and must adhere to established schedules to facilitate timely delivery of the customer order. The ideal candidate will offer the following abilities and knowledge, as demonstrated in employment history or other experience:

Responsibilities

• negotiating utility pole attachment agreements
• right-of-way access agreements
• representation at Public Hearings
• experience preparing and submitting permit packages
• processing permits by interfacing with local governments
• vendor management
• securing requisite entitlements to allow network development
• understanding construction plans/drawings

Requirements

• deep understanding of utility and permitting rules related to communications infrastructure
• represent Arium Networks in escalations to minimize project impacts and protect Arium Networks' regulated rights

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) Required
• Juris Doctor (JD) Preferred

Skills and Experience

• 5+ years of proven experience working for a wireless carrier or wireless services/ site acquisition, external/regulatory/governmental affairs consulting firm, a utility, a jurisdictional, or Planning, Zoning, and Land Use capacity required or equivalent in a comparable industry or relevant military experience

Pay

$79,600 - $109,500 annually

Schedule

This is a remote role with the expectation of on-site/in-person collaboration with teammates and stakeholders for moments that matter and may require some travel as needed.
