Responsibilities

  • Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability (DFX study)
  • Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production
  • Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters
  • Trouble shoot process related issues
  • Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements
  • Evaluate and select various engineered materials
  • Implement statistical process reviews on new and existing products
  • Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput
  • Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
  • Review processing methods
  • Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer
  • Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer
  • Manage cost improvement/reduction programs

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Processing
  • 6 years of experience in Engineering in the high Technology Electronics industry
  • 5 years of Manufacturing Production and Operations
  • 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area
  • Experience Manufacturing Technology in a high volume highly automated setting
  • Advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint spreadsheet (PC), presentation and database software

Qualifications

  • Master's degree in Engineering, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Processing preferred
  • Experience in high volume, highly automated manufacturing environments
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay

The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.

Schedule

This is a full-time position with standard business hours.
