Responsibilities
- Implement and evaluate proposed designs and processes for manufacturability (DFX study)
- Prepare justification, purchase and implement capital equipment for production
- Establish robust, repeatable and reproducible process parameters
- Trouble shoot process related issues
- Participate to activities pertaining to cycle time and process improvements
- Evaluate and select various engineered materials
- Implement statistical process reviews on new and existing products
- Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput
- Provide continuous development of manufacturing techniques that will improve in-house capabilities
- Review processing methods
- Interface with production of all activities associated with new process implementation and transfer
- Assist in the development of training and provide training to production personnel during new technology transfer
- Manage cost improvement/reduction programs
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Processing
- 6 years of experience in Engineering in the high Technology Electronics industry
- 5 years of Manufacturing Production and Operations
- 4 years of experience in engineering in the high technology electronics industry or related area
- Experience Manufacturing Technology in a high volume highly automated setting
- Advanced people and/or process management skills as well as customer (external and internal) relationship skills
- Excellent Excel and PowerPoint spreadsheet (PC), presentation and database software
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Engineering, Process, Mechanical, Materials, Manufacturing, Processing preferred
- Experience in high volume, highly automated manufacturing environments
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Pay
The salary range for this position is $80,000 - $120,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
Schedule
