About the role

A key component of your strategy will be developing proactive mitigation plans for critical and fastest-growing tests—direct drivers of quality metrics. Your insights will safeguard the customer experience and build the operational blueprint for the next phase of growth.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the owner and single source of truth for Operations Metrics data for assigned Order to Cash processes. Data integrity is critical as these metrics drive business decisions, senior management regional reviews, and variable compensation for all employees.
  • Facilitate alignment around Operational Metric definitions, defects, and opportunities. Work across regional director-level and corporate function management to achieve agreement on core measurement components.
  • Develop automated data solutions in partnership with corporate IT and Master Data Management teams.
  • Leverage developed solutions to create customized, accurate reporting, scorecards, and management tools for regional Operations teams.

  • Query and collate metrics from automated and non-standard data sources.
  • Work across standard and non-standard sites to collect data in adherence to agreed-upon operational definitions.
  • Develop and program automation in VBA to collate multiple site-specific datasets into single master data sets.
  • Perform checks and audits of all data sources to ensure resulting metrics are accurate and complete.

Examples of Operational Metrics you will own, design, manage, and analyze:

  • Daily and hourly capital equipment utilization by site location (2M+ tests run on 1k+ instruments per day).
  • Daily and hourly labor productivity metrics by job function (e.g., calculated draws/day for 10k phlebotomists, reqs/hr for 1k data entry FTEs).
  • Daily superior customer experience metrics by core process (e.g., hourly patient wait time at 2k+ sites, ASA/TSF for 10k+ calls/day).

Requirements

  • 5+ years of work experience in a role requiring analytics or reporting.
  • Expertise in creating, managing, and discerning large master data sets.
  • Working understanding and experience with relevant Order to Cash processes.
  • Systems knowledge: QLS, QBS, QDSS, Cognos, QPS, QMPS, IDAA.
