Sr. Operations Manager, Manufacturing

What You'll Do

• Drive manufacturing teams to achieve established targets for daily going rate and on-time shipments as well as develop and continuously improve key metrics.
• Define shop objectives to meet business plans, capacity & headcount targets, and key performance indicators.
• Ensure optimal use of resources and adherence to best safety practices.
• Conduct analysis and prepare reports on projects and process improvements as well as make countermeasures for timely completion of project goals.
• Build a strong, motivated team capable of consistently delivering high-quality products against aggressive production targets.
• Support issue resolution including root cause investigation & an environment of continuous learning and improvement.
• Ensure consistency in standards and documentation. Monitor for compliance as well as support and manage continuous improvement activities in safety, quality, cost, efficiency, and productivity objectives.

What You'll Bring

• Bachelor's Degree, 5+ years of experience managing teams of people in a high-volume manufacturing setting, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with process improvement methodologies to optimize efficiency and throughput.
• Experience working well under pressure, managing competing demands and meeting tight deadlines.
• In-depth understanding of mechanical and standardized processes.
• Strong organization skills with meticulous attention to detail.
• Fluent with common MS Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
