About the role

As a Senior Operations Manager of the AV Emergency Response unit, you will oversee day-to-day business operations, including performance, billing, P&L, and resource forecasting for a growing fleet. You will manage a high-performing team, design scalable response frameworks for autonomous vehicle (AV) challenges, drive KPI excellence, and ensure compliance with evolving regulatory standards. This role requires the ability to scale operations, foster employee retention, and cultivate a culture prioritizing safety, innovation, and rapid adaptation to technological change.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day operations, including performance, billing, P&L, and resource forecasting for a growing AV fleet.
• Lead and coach a high-performing team of Operations Managers and Team Leads, ensuring development in both leadership and AV technical literacy.
• Design and scale response frameworks to address unique AV challenges, such as software-defined edge cases, hardware failures, and environmental obstacles.
• Drive KPI excellence across specialized AV metrics, balancing technical Resolution Rates and Safety Benchmarks with business metrics like CSAT and AHT.
• Collaborate with Senior Management and clients to support business growth.
• Ensure compliance with evolving regulatory and legal standards specific to autonomous transportation.
• Own the hiring and talent development pipeline, identifying candidates with strong analytical skills for a fast-paced technology environment.
• Foster an organizational culture that prioritizes safety, innovation, and rapid adaptation to technological change.
• Travel up to 20% to support market launches, conduct field audits, and meet with regional stakeholders.

Requirements

• Two-plus years of experience as a Senior Operations Manager or seven-plus years as an Operations Manager in high-stakes or safety-critical environments (e.g., transportation, automotive, aviation).
• Autonomous Vehicle (AV) experience is mandatory.
• BA/BS degree preferred.
• Experience managing supervisors and coaching team members.

Pay

The base salary range for this position is $97,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year across US locations. Actual salary will be determined based on qualifications, experience, skills, and geographic location.
