About the role
The Sr. Operations Admin is responsible for managing administrative tasks within a dock operations or distribution center environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage administrative tasks including scheduling, inventory management, and record-keeping
- Handle customer inquiries and provide support through phone, email, and in-person interactions
- Process paperwork and maintain accurate records
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure smooth operations
- Perform data entry and review tasks using Microsoft Office and web-based applications
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Four (4) years customer service, clerical or related experience required; experience in dock operations environment or distribution center setting preferred
- General business skills such as typing, data entry, and use of phone, copier, and fax
- Software skills, including use of Microsoft Office software and web-based applications
- Customer service skills necessary to effectively and professionally respond to requests
- Time management, organizational, and multi-tasking skills necessary to work in a fast-paced environment, handling various tasks and changing priorities, while maintaining a high attention to detail and accuracy to achieve daily assignments and goals
