Sr, Operational Risk Analyst, Business Risk Management

For our client, we are seeking a Sr, Operational Risk Analyst, Business Risk Management to join the team of a leader in the Finance & Insurance space. This role will help shape and execute an operational risk framework that supports effective governance, sound controls, and informed decision-making across the business. The analyst will partner closely with business teams and control functions to identify exposures, document remediation efforts, and strengthen the organization's overall risk posture. This position also plays an important role in risk reporting, awareness training, and promoting a strong culture of accountability. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $114,480 – $170,070 annually Responsibilities Support the development and execution of the operational risk management strategy and policies Partner with business units to address and document risk remediation efforts Participate in identifying, measuring, and reporting operational risks through key management processes Conduct risk awareness training and promote a strong risk culture Collaborate with internal audit, compliance, and other functions to provide a comprehensive risk perspective Qualifications Bachelor's degree in risk management, accounting, finance, business management, mathematics, or equivalent experience Minimum 4 years in health and wealth organizations with a focus on operational risk management Experience conducting risk assessments and implementing controls Strong analytical skills for data interpretation and research Proactive communicator with problem-solving abilities and a commitment to process improvement Benefits Health, dental, vision, and life insurance plans 401(k) Savings plan with company matching contributions Employer-funded cash balance retirement plan Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
