SR. Night Crew Team Leader (Greater Columbus Area)

About the Role

Senior Night Crew Team Leaders are honest, engaging, respectful, and display a curiosity for food. As an integral part of our company's distinct points of difference, Overnight Team Leaders manage the Overnight Team, ensuring unparalleled guest service while maintaining department records, processes, standards, and methods. Leaders are accountable for the operating performance of their assigned department(s) at all times.

Promote and develop individuals with mutual respect, inclusion, diversity, and dignity. Coach Team Members regularly with timely feedback to identify opportunities for development and success.

Responsibilities

• Interview, select, and train Team Members.
• Direct the work of Team Members and appraise their productivity and efficiency to recommend promotions or other changes in status.
• Handle Team Member issues, including complaints and discipline.
• Plan, distribute, and assign work among Team Members.
• Ensure the safety and security of Team Members and the store.
• Manage the budget and inventory for your department or location.
• Monitor or implement compliance measures.
• Direct, oversee, and evaluate training to reduce turnover, promote efficiency, and control labor costs.
• Provide motivational leadership, focusing on respect and setting an exemplary example.
• Identify team strengths and opportunities, and schedule strategically.
• Develop future leaders and nurture an environment of inclusion and diversity.
• Maintain safety as the top priority for Team Members, guests, and products.
• Inspire the team and guests with a passion for food and a willingness to go the extra mile.
• Set and reach aggressive sales and profit goals, manage shrink, and make suggestions for improvement.
• Establish an ongoing communication plan to keep Team Members informed and prepared.
• Communicate with the merchandising team to ensure promotions are properly shared with Team Members and guests.
• Make innovative plans and suggestions to improve business.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience required.
• Prior management experience in grocery operations, retail, or a related field (desired).
• Customer service experience.
• Knowledge of operational procedures (desired).
• Ability to read and interpret Profit and Loss statements.
• High school diploma or equivalent (desired).
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.

Pay

The hiring range for this position is $20.25–$23.625 per hour. Actual compensation will be determined based on factors such as experience, skills, education, and location.
