Sr New Product Introduction Buyer
About the Role
FOX Factory designs, engineers, manufactures, and markets performance-defining products and systems for customers worldwide. Our premium brand products are used primarily on bicycles, side-by-side vehicles, on-road and off-road vehicles, all-terrain vehicles, snowmobiles, motorcycles, and commercial trucks. This role is responsible for establishing the supply chain for the development of new products as part of the Powered Vehicle Group (PVG) Sourcing Team to support Tier 1 OEM automotive, Industrial, and Powersports customers.
The Sr NPI Buyer will manage supplier choice, prototyping, and production builds while adhering to development schedules in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The successful candidate will take ownership of product cost, manufacturability, and delivery, coordinating across a matrixed organization.
Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor all project material cost impacts and changes as the Sr. NPI Buyer for Sourcing.
- Conduct supplier quoting, selection, and issue special build POs considering project scope, budget, and margin targets.
- Lead cross-functional team project reviews at each phase.
- Execute and communicate engineering prototype and developmental demands.
- Ensure project status is openly communicated to all stakeholders, working directly with Engineering, Test, Manufacturing, Planning, Document Control, Quality Control, Purchasing, and Sourcing.
- Track supplier communication, cost, and schedules through product BOM reviews and BOM cost-down activities.
- Manage the transition of parts from development to production buyers/procurement.
- Facilitate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) reviews between project teams and suppliers to identify opportunities in part design and supplier processes.
- Initiate the onboarding process for new suppliers and ensure all appropriate system set-up is complete.
- Up to 40% domestic travel within manufacturing locations (Georgia and both California locations) and the supply chain.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, or engineering.
- 3 years of progressively responsible Tier 1 Automotive or similar purchasing and material control experience, with program buying experience.
- Strong written and verbal communication, leadership, and prioritization skills.
- Familiarity with ERP and BOM systems.
- Ability to operate as a project lead across multiple projects and disciplines.
- Ability to build consensus and drive decision-making in cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
- Oracle knowledge.
- Experience with manufacturing processes.
- Project management or supply chain experience.

Pay
Compensation range: $92,324.28 – $126,945.32.
