Sr. Network Engineer (Hybrid)

This is a full-time direct hire position. Candidates must currently hold an active Secret or Public Trust Security Clearance or above. Visa sponsorship, 1099 status, and C2C arrangements are not available for this role.

About the Team

The Government Services team provides cleared resources with global reach to federal civilian, Department of Defense (DoD), and intelligence community markets. We specialize in delivering innovative, operationally ready, and cost-effective IT solutions that enhance the interoperability and resiliency of mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle escalated network incidents requiring advanced troubleshooting, analysis, and root-cause identification.
• Perform intermediate configuration and maintenance of switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless infrastructure.
• Analyze recurring issues and recommend improvements to reduce incident volume.
• Assist in implementing network changes, upgrades, and optimizations under the guidance of senior engineers.
• Conduct deeper investigation of performance degradations, routing issues, and VLAN/subnet misconfigurations.
• Monitor and interpret network performance metrics to proactively detect problems.
• Review Tier 1 escalations, provide guidance, and help train Tier 1 staff in troubleshooting methodologies.
• Maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, SOPs, and topology information.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on project tasks, migrations, or new technology deployments.

Requirements

• Active Secret clearance or Public Trust.
• 8+ years of relevant network engineering or architecture experience.
• CCNP, ITIL, or ITSM certification.
• Possesses an industry-recognized advanced networking certification.

Pay

A reasonable estimate of the current base pay range for this position is $110,000.00 to $120,000.00 annually. Actual salary will be based on factors such as shift, location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure, certification, and business needs. The range may differ in other geographic locations. Certain positions may also be eligible for variable incentive compensation, such as bonuses or commissions.
