Sr. Network Engineer - (Data Center/Arista)

About the role

Design, implement, test, and support LAN/WAN/Data Center network solutions in a large enterprise environment.

Responsibilities

• Configure and troubleshoot BGP, OSPF, and Static Routing.
• Implement DDoS mitigation strategies, ACLs, VRFs, and network security controls.
• Configure and manage modern Cisco Nexus and/or Arista routing and switching platforms.
• Participate in enterprise network projects, including design, implementation, testing, validation, and deployment.
• Execute network changes in accordance with established change-control processes.
• Proactively identify and mitigate network capacity, performance, and system-related risks.
• Research industry best practices and recommend network improvements.

Requirements

• Network Engineering experience in large enterprise environments.
• Designing and implementing LAN/WAN/Data Center solutions.
• Strong experience with BGP, OSPF, Static Routing, ACLs, VRFs, and DDoS mitigation.
• Hands-on experience with Cisco Nexus and Arista platforms.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a high-volume environment and make timely technical decisions.
• Strong documentation, communication, and collaboration skills.

Preferred Skills

• CCNA, CCNP/DP, or CCIE – Data Center certification.
• Experience with Python, YAML, Ansible, and GitHub.
• Experience with Jira/Atlassian, ServiceNow, Visio, and Microsoft Office.

Pay

Between $50–$54 per hour. Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, and certifications.
