ANS is seeking a Sr. Network Design Engineer (CORE (WAN)) to join its team in Chantilly, VA, where you will plan, analyze, design, develop, test, secure, integrate, implement, operate, and maintain custom solutions that ensure today is safe and tomorrow is smarter.

Responsibilities

• Responsibility for the Multiprotocol Label Switching (MPLS) Wide Area Network (WAN) overall architecture.
• Developing MPLS WAN services solutions.
• Performing lab equipment evaluation, integration, and testing.
• Assisting with the security accreditation process.
• Developing and maintaining relevant technical documentation.
• On an as‑needed basis, supporting Tier‑4 production troubleshooting.
• Developing proactive network analysis solutions for the operations team.

Requirements

• TS/SCI with Polygraph clearance required.
• Minimum 16 years of experience, which can be a combination of work history and education (e.g., Doctorate + 8 years, Master’s + 10 years, Bachelor’s + 12 years, Associate’s + 14 years, or HS diploma + 16 years).

Pay

The anticipated pay range for this position is $100,000 - $200,000 USD. Overtime is not guaranteed for this position. Salary ranges are not a guarantee and depend on contractual requirements, work location, years of experience, skill set, and education.
