Full-time, on-site position at our Westminster Administrative office in St Paul, MN (55130).

About the Role

This position is responsible for designing, implementing, monitoring, and managing the local and wide area networks of the organization to ensure maximum uptime of network connectivity for users. A can-do attitude, deep knowledge of networks, and a natural ability to drive toward results will be key to success in this role.

You will provide 3rd-level support to staff and the IT department to ensure efficient operations, engage in projects to facilitate network connectivity, and may act as a project manager for network infrastructure-related initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Administer and maintain network systems, including switches, routers, firewalls, and storage environments.
  • Apply updates, hotfixes, and patches to network equipment and infrastructure as needed.
  • Assist with network security equipment and design/architecture of network infrastructure.
  • Engage in projects to facilitate network connectivity; may act as a project manager for network infrastructure-related projects.
  • Work with vendors for acquisition of network devices, support, and/or new telecommunication services.
  • Troubleshoot network system issues, work independently on assigned 3rd-level help tickets to meet SLA agreements, and ensure high availability and recovery of mission-critical systems.
  • Monitor all network equipment to ensure high availability and peak performance of critical network systems; validate backups for recovery purposes.
  • Research, design, and implement new network systems and technologies to enhance network infrastructure with minimal supervision.
  • Comply with applicable laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control.

  • Participate in an on-call rotation for troubleshooting and resolving issues after-hours, weekends, and holidays.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support effective department operation.

Requirements

  • Minimum High School degree or equivalent; CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or other industry-related certifications preferred.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network infrastructure, datacenters, and wide/local area networks.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Active Directory, Group Policies, and network services.
  • Experience working with firewalls, routers, switches, and Zero Trust Networking solutions.
  • Project management skills, including prioritizing tasks and adhering to policies and procedures.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and business continuity plans is a plus.
  • Ability to grasp complex tasks, troubleshoot problems creatively, and learn new technologies quickly.
  • Strong documentation skills and ability to communicate clearly with staff and vendors.
  • Maintain confidentiality of information stored on the network.
  • Ability to sit, stand, operate a computer, interact with staff/public via phone, and lift up to 20 lbs.

Pay

$78,490.65 - $117,735.97 annually, plus a quarterly team bonus.
