Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain RESTful APIs using ASP.NET Core/.NET Framework.
- Work closely with front-end developers, QA engineers, and business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimize application performance and ensure responsiveness and scalability.
- Write clean, maintainable, and reusable code following best practices and coding standards.
- Implement authentication and authorization for APIs (e.g., OAuth2, JWT).
- Integrate third-party APIs and services as needed.
- Conduct code reviews, provide mentorship to junior developers, and ensure code quality.
- Collaborate in Agile/Scrum development cycles and participate in daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems and APIs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 6+ years of experience in .NET development.
- Strong experience with ASP.NET Core, C#, and Entity Framework/Core.
- Proven experience in building RESTful APIs and web services.
- Experience with SQL Server, and writing complex queries and stored procedures.
- Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger/OpenAPI.
- Strong understanding of OOP, SOLID principles, and design patterns.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Knowledge of DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing is a plus.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms like Azure or AWS is a plus.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with microservices architecture.
- Knowledge of containerization technologies (e.g., Docker).
- Understanding of message brokers (e.g., RabbitMQ, Azure Service Bus).
- Experience with front-end frameworks like Angular or React is a bonus.
