Sr. Mobile Software Engineer (iOS), Vesper

About the role

We are seeking exceptional software developers to join our team in building magical shopping experiences on our iOS application. You will be working with a highly-capable team of software engineers, scientists, designers, and product managers to invent new experiences that work for millions of customers at scale.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop high-quality, innovative applications
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features
• Ensure performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to technical discussions
• Write unit tests for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture (design patterns, reliability and scaling) of new and existing systems experience
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control management, build processes, testing, and operations experience
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent
