About the role
A growing enterprise organization is seeking a Senior Microsoft Platform Engineer to help lead the evolution of its Digital Workplace Experience (DWX) environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on engineer who enjoys building modern workplace solutions, automating repetitive processes, strengthening endpoint security, and improving the overall employee technology experience.
Responsibilities
- Serve as a senior technical resource supporting the organization's endpoint and Microsoft 365 platforms.
- Design, implement, and optimize modern endpoint management solutions.
- Lead efforts around device provisioning, lifecycle management, patching, compliance, and endpoint security.
- Support and enhance Microsoft 365 technologies including collaboration, messaging, identity, and productivity services.
- Build automation solutions using PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, and modern engineering practices.
- Develop scalable operational processes that improve reliability, security, and user experience.
- Partner closely with infrastructure, security, architecture, and support teams on enterprise initiatives.
- Evaluate and implement new technologies that improve operational efficiency and employee productivity.
- Support governance, compliance, and security initiatives through policy development and technical controls.
- Contribute to roadmap planning and continuous improvement efforts across the digital workplace environment.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience supporting and engineering Microsoft workplace technologies within enterprise environments.
- Advanced knowledge of endpoint management and Microsoft cloud platforms.
- Expert-level experience with Intune, Autopilot, Entra ID, and Microsoft 365 administration.
- Strong scripting and automation capabilities using PowerShell.
- Experience utilizing Microsoft Graph API for administration and automation.
- Experience with Git-based version control and modern engineering workflows.
- Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure-as-code concepts.
- Strong understanding of identity management, endpoint security, and modern access controls.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues across multiple Microsoft platforms.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within financial services, insurance, healthcare, or other highly regulated industries.
- Hands-on experience with: Microsoft Defender for Endpoint Conditional Access BitLocker Credential Guard Attack Surface Reduction policies Zero Trust security frameworks.
- Experience with Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar deployment platforms.
- Microsoft certifications related to Microsoft 365, Security, Identity, or Endpoint Management.
- Experience evaluating or implementing AI-powered productivity and automation solutions.
- Familiarity with compliance, audit, and governance requirements in enterprise environments.
