What You Will Do
- Support the end-to-end O2C process areas including Inquiry and Quotation, sales order processing, Delivery, Billing and invoicing, credit management, Accounts Receivable and integrations to Boundary Systems.
- Collaborate with business and digital team members and cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and provide guidance on utilizing the ERP system effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement solutions that leverage S/4HANA, enhancing our workstream processes in alignment desired Collins operating model and industry best practices.
- Aid data team and process teams in data mapping activities and testing.
- Document common solutions, including configuration documents, process flows and data policies.
- Deliver functional specifications for any forms, reports, enhancements, conversion programs, integrations and workflows deemed in scope of the workstream as part of program.
Qualifications You Must Have
- Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Minimum of 7+ years' experience in SAP systems with Order to cash experience and a bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) or equivalent combination of related work experience and schooling in lieu of degree.
- Strong understanding of digital processes for the Order to Cash workstream in the following focus areas: quotes, contracts, sales orders, returns, delivery, shipping, pricing and billing finance processes, EDI, customer applications.
- Ability to translate business needs into system requirements and process improvements.
- Experience with SAP systems including system configuration, data management, and reporting capabilities.
Qualifications We Prefer
- Experience working on large, complex A&D enterprise projects -- or similarly regulated, large organization.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated skills in creative thinking, problem solving and decision-making.
- Ability to prioritize and meet deadlines of multiple projects.
- Strong organizational and project management skills.
- Experience in problem solving, change management or process planning activities involving Senior Leadership (SLT).
