Sr. Merchandising Analyst

Develop analytical models and problem-solving approaches to address business challenges, focusing on leveraging data to drive business results. Collaborate with business partners to align on approaches, recommend solutions based on analysis, and implement recommendations.

Responsibilities

• Solve business problems using data-driven models
• Build structured analytical approaches to solving business problems, including identifying needed data, required analysis, and strategies for synthesizing and presenting results
• Design and build analytical solutions to enable recurring analysis of business performance
• Effectively scope, size, and plan the development of analytical solutions while setting clear expectations
• Translate high-level business problems into discrete, data-driven questions
• Identify opportunities to improve business performance through analytical approaches
• Translate model outputs into actionable recommendations for business operations
• Develop and maintain effective working relationships with cross-functional teams
• Partner with stakeholders across the organization to drive implementation of analytical recommendations
• Align decisions with individual, division, and company-wide goals
• Demonstrate strong communication skills in all interactions

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree with quantitative coursework
• 2-5 years of experience in analytics, management consulting, or merchandise planning (preferred)
• Experience with Statistical Analysis (preferred)
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organization skills
• Self-motivated, collaborative, and eager to learn
• Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization
• Highly strategic with strong initiative, multitasking, and prioritization skills
• Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate across departments
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
• Strong sense of business/retail math
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy

Min-Mid $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 (salaried)
