About the role
Interacts with key opinion leaders (KOLs) and healthcare decision makers in the psychiatry and neurology therapeutic areas, helping to advance the scientific platform. Supports company sponsored and investigator-initiated research, delivers clinical and pharmaco-economic presentations to payers, trains faculty for the speaker’s bureau, supports scientific congresses and is a resource for medical and scientific inquires. May also represent the company at identified patient advocacy, professional society or other meetings.
The territory covers Illinois, Indiana, Michigan and Kentucky, the ideal candidate will live in the Chicago area, close to a major airport.
Requirements
- PharmD or PhD in a health science field AND 4+ years of previous work experience in an equivalent field-based position is required, with 2+ years experience in the CNS therapeutic area preferred OR
- MD/DO Degree AND 2+ years of related experience
- Anticipates business and industry issues; recommends relevant process / technical / service improvements
- Demonstrates broad expertise or unique knowledge
- Considers an expert within the company and may have external presence in area of expertise
- Applies in-depth expertise in discipline and broad knowledge of other closely related areas to improve efficiency of team
- Works as part of and leads multiple teams
- Displays good leadership, mentoring skills and abilities typically leads lower levels and/or indirect teams
- Shows excellent computer skills
- Exhibits excellent communications, problem-solving, analytical thinking skills
- See broader picture and longer-term impact on division/company
- Makes decisions meeting multiple deadlines across a variety of projects/programs, with a high degree of accuracy and efficiency
- Displays excellent project management, strong project leadership skills

Benefits
- Annual base salary range: $185,200.00 - $253,000.00
- Annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary
