Sr. Medical Science Liaison - Midwest

About the role

This remote field-based role will serve as a scientific partner across the Midwest, building trusted relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers. The position will translate complex clinical and scientific information into balanced, credible education for external stakeholders and internal teams. In addition, this role will help shape scientific exchange through congress engagement, data interpretation, and compliant collaboration across the organization.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain scientific relationships with key opinion leaders and healthcare decision-makers
• Deliver balanced medical and scientific presentations for various stakeholders
• Serve as a scientific expert at conferences and train faculty for the speaker's bureau
• Provide clinical insights by compiling and interpreting scientific data
• Serve as a resource for key opinion leaders and internal staff on scientific matters
• Ensure compliance with ethical standards and industry regulations
• Mentor and guide less experienced colleagues

Qualifications

• PharmD or PhD in health sciences, or MD/DO with 2+ years of related experience
• 4+ years in a field-based position, preferably with CNS expertise
• Demonstrated ability to form strategic relationships with key opinion leaders
• Strong project management and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving abilities
• In-depth expertise in medical and scientific presentations
• Proficient territory management skills
