Responsibilities
- Develop conceptual and detailed designs of mechanical parts and assemblies based on project requirements.
- Provide supporting safety and engineering analyses as required.
- Prepare materials for engineering design reviews.
- Prepare technical drawings in compliance with industry standards.
- Work both independently and as a part of a multidisciplinary team.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of machine component design, materials, knowledge of manufacturing processes and experience with complex mechanical systems.
- Experience in opto-mechanics, precision mechanics, tool and fixture design, high vacuum systems, and precision metrology is desired.
Qualifications
- AS or AAS or equivalent with 7+ years industry experience.
- Proficient with CAD software, Siemens NX preferred.
Pay
Range UR URG 113 Compensation Range $77,216.00 - $115,824.00
