About the role
Join our team as a Sr. Mechanical Engineer, Server Design. As a key member of the Server Design team, you will be responsible for designing and developing mechanical systems for servers. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that mechanical designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements.
Responsibilities
- Design and develop mechanical systems for servers
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical, software, and manufacturing engineers
- Ensure mechanical designs meet functional, safety, and manufacturability requirements
- Contribute to the development of design standards and guidelines
- Participate in product testing and validation activities
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in mechanical engineering
- Experience with mechanical design tools such as SolidWorks or similar CAD software
- Strong understanding of mechanical principles and materials science
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Qualifications
- Proven track record of successful mechanical design projects
- Experience with server design and manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of thermal management and cooling systems
- Experience with mechanical testing and analysis tools
