Sr Mechanical Engineer
About the role
The Engineering Team at our client is preparing to launch four new products, each at different stages of the product lifecycle. They are seeking a Sr. Mechanical Engineer to support product design, manage the process from concept to production release, and collaborate effectively with various teams, including Manufacturing, Electrical, and office teams.
Responsibilities
- Support product design
- Manage product development from concept to production release
- Collaborate with Manufacturing, Electrical, and office teams
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering
- 7-10+ years of experience in Mechanical Design of New Products
- Experience managing a product launch from concept to completion
- Proficient in SolidWorks, AutoCAD and/or Inventor
- Experience working with multiple teams and navigating networks
- Electromechanical knowledge with experience in Sheet Metal and Plastics
Qualifications
- Experience in MPI, Obsolescence, Packaging, Smart Sheet
- Product design from concept to production release, understanding the manufacturing side
- Skill set to navigate internal networks
- Ability to fulfill design work independently (expert level)

Pay
The pay range for this position is $48.00 - $58.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
