About the role

As a Sr. Material Coordinator in our Materials Department, you will play a critical role in achieving our strategic objectives by ensuring the right inventory is in the right place at the right time. This position reports to the Materials Supervisor and is key to Trystar’s mission to become the world’s foremost custom solution provider.

Responsibilities
- Act as the subject matter expert for your area of responsibility, guiding and organizing a team of material handlers.
- Collaborate with various departments to prioritize and meet the needs of internal and external customers.
- Ensure timely and accurate material handling delivery to meet production stakeholder needs.
- Help define, improve, and uphold process standards, driving accountability within your team.
- Execute all types of material transactions using Epicor (ERP).
- Read, comprehend, and execute processes and procedures according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Comprehend and act on production schedules in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Operate powered industrial vehicles within the plant.
- Read and understand job travelers, pick lists, and system-generated workflow assignments.
- Clean, restock, and organize the warehouse area.
- Perform other projects and duties as assigned.
Requirements
- High school diploma.
- Ability to read instructions, safely operate machines, and visually inspect raw materials.
- 4 years of material handling experience in a manufacturing environment or proven knowledge of material handling best practices.
- Experience using an ERP system.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally in a team environment.
- Ability to multitask and set priorities.
- Outstanding attention to detail, organizational, and coordination abilities.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Must be able to read, write, and comprehend plant directives written in English.
Additional Qualifications
- Perform simple mathematics to comprehend and interpret process sheets, SOP manuals, tally sheets, etc.
- Frequent lifting, standing, bending, and reaching required.
- Able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test.
- Must adhere to all PPE requirements, including eye, hand, feet, and hearing protection.

Schedule
1st Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5:00 AM - 3:30 PM.
