Responsibilities

  • Lead rapid resolution of supplier-caused issues impacting the factory, collaborating with quality functions and cross-functional teams.
  • Serve as the onsite supplier assurance interface for factory tier meetings, layered process assessments, and nonconforming material reviews.
  • Analyze supplied material non-conformance metrics and develop action plans to address top and systemic drivers.
  • Investigate issues with supplied material, ensuring accurate defect documentation, robust root-cause analysis, and full implementation of corrective solutions.
  • Assist with quarantine, containment, and screening of suspect defective supplied hardware.
  • Work on projects to achieve continuous improvement goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
  • Eight (8) years of experience in Quality, Operations, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
  • Experience with Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) tools and processes.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or AS9100 Quality Management Systems.
  • Experience with hardware inspection techniques and interpreting engineering drawings.
  • U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain/maintain a U.S. government issued DoD Secret security clearance (interim clearance required prior to start date).

Preferred Qualifications

  • Proven success in building and maintaining relationships with suppliers, customers, and internal teams.
  • Experience in DoD product and process oversight, including requirements, build, integration, test, and delivery.
  • High computer proficiency, including SAP/PRISM and Microsoft Tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Six Sigma, Lean, and/or American Society for Quality (ASQ) Certification (e.g., CQE, CQM/OE, CSQE, CQA, CRE).

Pay

The salary range for this role is $107,500 – $204,500 USD. The range reflects all experience levels. RTX considers role, function, responsibilities, work experience, location, education/training, and key skills when extending an offer.
