Sr. Manufacturing Process Engineer, Hardware Engineering - Manufacturing

About the role

AWS’s Hardware Engineering team is seeking experienced professionals to help build the world’s premier cloud computing platform. We are particularly interested in Manufacturing Engineers who can operate in a fast-paced, multi-platform international manufacturing and production environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage manufacturing technical operations support at the factory
• Provide On-Site support to new product launches as well as sustaining issues
• Design in quality and manufacturability on new designs of servers and racks
• Root cause customer impacting issues and drive resolution

Requirements

• 5+ years of driving process improvements experience
• Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing Engineering or similar related field or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of Manufacturing Engineering work experience with server platforms or on high-tech hardware
• 5+ years working with manufacturing suppliers to improve incoming quality of systems

Qualifications

• Experience working with interdisciplinary teams to execute product design from concept to production
• Experience with the project management of technical projects

Skills

• Technical proficiency in manufacturing processes
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Pay

Base salary range for this position is $151,200.00 - $204,600.00 USD annually.

Schedule

Up to 50% travel is anticipated.
