Position Information: $101,760 - $170,050. The base salary range represents a good faith salary range for this position. This role is eligible for annual incentive pay and has the opportunity for continued salary growth. About the Role
The Senior Manager of Treatment will manage the personnel, capital resources, and business processes engaged in the functional area of Production.
Responsibilities
- Develop and support a team of front-line supervisory and technical staff engaged in production operations
- Implement training and development programs to ensure personnel obtain and maintain appropriate operator certifications from regulating agencies
- Manage union and/or non-union labor issues and participate in the collective bargaining process
- Monitor the financial performance of production operations to ensure business plan goals are met
- Direct the planning, acquisition, or construction of new and/or upgraded production facilities in accordance with approved CAPEX budget
- Implement and manage a preventative maintenance program for capital assets that provides OPEX savings and defers CAPEX spending, where possible
- Manage and monitor the effectiveness of security efforts at all production facilities, including the preparation of Vulnerability Assessments and Emergency Response Plans
- Implement processes to ensure adequate quantities of treated water meeting all regulatory standards are provided to customers at all times
- Oversee business processes to ensure American Water policies are followed, best practices are implemented, and internal/external reporting requirements are satisfied
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering-related field (preferred)
- Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience
- Experience in management of people, processes, technologies, and budgets
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications, with strong Excel knowledge
- Prior experience managing 20 or more direct or indirect reports (strongly preferred)
- Valid State-issued Driver’s License
- T3 Water license (required)
- T4 Water license (preferred)
Schedule
- 5 days in-office at 213 Carriage Ln, Delran, NJ 08075
- Must be able to travel for meetings
