Sr Manager, Visual Merchandising Strategy

About the role

This role is responsible for developing and executing retail visual merchandising strategies that drive customer engagement, sales performance, brand consistency, and operational excellence across the retail footprint. This leader serves as the bridge between merchandising, marketing, operations, and field teams to ensure visual standards, promotional initiatives, and customer experience strategies are effectively translated into scalable in-store execution. The role combines strategic planning, visual merchandising leadership, project management, and cross-functional partnership to create compelling retail environments that enhance the customer journey while supporting business objectives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop long-term merchandising strategies, promotional roadmaps, visual standards, and retail experience initiatives
  • Partner with Marketing, Operations, Product, Inventory, Store Design, and Field Leadership to align priorities and drive enterprise initiatives
  • Analyze customer insights, identify experience opportunities, and enhance in-store engagement and conversion
  • Monitor KPIs, sales performance, execution metrics, customer feedback, and ROI of merchandising programs
  • Coach direct reports, build organizational capability, succession planning, and performance management
  • Oversee rollout execution, field communications, compliance reviews, and continuous process improvement

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree and 7 years of related work experience OR a combination of education and experience deemed equivalent
  • Education and work experience acceptable areas of study include Marketing, Advertising or related field
  • Experience in Creative, Execution or Production Team management, Operations, Marketing or Advertising field
  • Experience in Retail, US Wireless, Consumer Electronics or Technology

Pay

The pay range above is the general base pay range for a successful candidate in the role. The successful candidate’s actual pay will be based on various factors, such as work location, qualifications, and experience, so the actual starting pay will vary within this range. At T-Mobile, employees in regular, non-temporary roles are eligible for an annual bonus or periodic sales incentive or bonus, based on their role. Most Corporate employees are eligible for a year-end bonus based on company and/or individual performance and which is set at a percentage of the employee’s eligible earnings in the prior year. Certain positions in Customer Care are eligible for monthly bonuses based on individual and/or team performance.
