Position Summary

The Senior Manager, Total Rewards & HRIS is responsible for leading Welch's compensation, benefits, retirement, and HR technology programs. This role serves as a strategic partner in shaping Total Rewards strategies, enhancing the employee experience, and optimizing HR systems and processes.

Total Rewards Strategy

  • Lead the design, administration, and continuous improvement of Welch's compensation, benefits, and retirement programs, ensuring alignment with business objectives and talent priorities.
  • Develop competitive and equitable compensation strategies, including salary structures, incentive programs, market benchmarking, and job architecture.
  • Partner with HR and business leaders to support workforce planning, talent attraction, retention, and employee engagement initiatives.

Benefits & Retirement Programs

  • Oversee the strategic direction and administration of health, welfare, and retirement programs across corporate and manufacturing populations.
  • Serve as a key resource for pension and retirement plan governance, compliance, and administration.
  • Support the ongoing evolution of Welch's benefits strategy, including the transition to a self-insured healthcare model, vendor management, and efforts to optimize employee experience and plan performance.
  • Evaluate market trends, utilization data, and program effectiveness to recommend enhancements that balance employee needs and business objectives.

HRIS & Business Transformation

  • Serve as the business owner for HRIS and related HR technologies, driving system optimization, reporting, process improvements, and data integrity.
  • Lead HR participation in ERP implementations and enterprise transformation initiatives, partnering closely with IT, Finance, Payroll, and external vendors.
  • Champion technology solutions and process improvements that enhance operational efficiency, decision-making, and the employee experience.

Labor Relations & Compliance

  • Provide Total Rewards expertise and analytical support for collective bargaining activities, including compensation and benefits costing.
  • Partner with Labor Relations, Payroll, HR, Finance, and Operations leaders to support successful negotiation outcomes and ongoing workforce strategies.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable compensation, benefits, retirement, and HR data regulations while maintaining strong governance practices.
