POSITION SUMMARY

The Sr. Manager, Talent Acquisition will be accountable for the successful development and implementation of a strategic roadmap to enhance and transform the company’s global talent acquisition capabilities. The qualified candidate brings demonstrated experience implementing and monitoring talent acquisition programs, processes and initiatives. Additionally, the qualified candidate will be experienced in driving process improvements within a fast-paced environment, tracking and developing metrics and reporting, and demonstrating the business case for, and impact of, important talent acquisition initiatives.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide input and partner with L&D, recruiters, hiring managers and HRBPs to build programs and ways of working that continually improve the organization’s capabilities to engage, assess and hire top talent.
  • Explore the latest and forward-looking recruitment practices and methods to find innovative solutions to overcome hiring barriers.
  • Align and integrate our talent acquisition process with our EVP/Employer Brand, ensuring an effective and consistent candidate experience.
  • Lead process improvement initiatives to meet the changing needs of the organization and to remove obstacles to ensure a strong talent pipeline.
  • Provide strategic direction, monitor performance metrics and analytics that drive improvement of the talent acquisition function.
  • Collaborates and maintains strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders.
  • Establishes, tracks, analyzes and reports on key metrics.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Location: On-site at Advanced Energy Headquarters in Denver, CO.
Environment: Typical office environment

EXPERIENCE

  • 7+ years of experience in talent acquisition, or similar role.
  • Demonstrated talent acquisition expertise on a global level with deep understanding of contemporary best practices in recruitment branding, marketing, candidate experience, technical recruitment, selection practices, and the application of AI/technology.
  • Demonstrated success aligning large scale global talent acquisition initiatives to drive business goals, from conceptualization through impactful execution.
  • Prior experience working in a global role and establishing effective relationships with Sr Leaders, Executives, Hiring Managers and HRBPs.
  • Adept in developing TA strategies which are relevant to high growth/innovation, technology and high volume (manufacturing) spaces.
  • Strong background in establishing and managing meaningful metrics to drive improvement and results.
  • Strong knowledge of HR tools/systems and ATS platforms (SuccessFactors preferred).

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to obtain, verify and evaluate general and statistical information.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong HRIS experience, SAP and SuccessFactors strongly preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail, independent initiative, and curiosity.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Implement programs which can meet both corporate criteria and global/local needs.
  • Advanced project management, organizational and analytics skills to manage multiple projects, processes, and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Experience driving change management in a global organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office suite.
  • Flexible and effectively deals with high levels of change and ambiguity.

EDUCATION

  • BA/BS degree in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field.
  • Advanced degree in Human Resources, or related field preferred.

COMPENSATION

As required by multiple state pay transparency laws, Advanced Energy provides a reasonable range of compensation for each job posting. Actual compensation is influenced by an array of factors including, but not limited to, skill set, level of experience, and specific office location. The range of starting pay for this role is $140,000 to $180,000 per year.
