About the role

The Sr. Manager, Supply Chain - Advanced Frames role is based onsite at Nextracker's Fremont, CA headquarters. This role serves as the primary Supply Chain representative to the NX Advanced Frames team, driving alignment of all aspects of demand/supply planning as well as on-time and on-budget material delivery to support the successful execution of construction projects and field operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary Supply Chain liaison to the NX Advanced Frames team, ensuring alignment on all demand/supply plans, capacity versus demand forecast, material readiness and on-time delivery schedules.
  • Lead end-to-end supply chain execution and fulfillment of Advanced Frames contracts from early-stage handoff (70%, 90%, 100%) through delivery, customer coordination, closeout, and supply chain related support.
  • Partner cross-functionally with key departments — including Product Management, Engineering, Sourcing, New Product Introduction, Procurement, Logistics, Trade Compliance, and Operations — to drive integrated planning and execution strategies.
  • Design and implement recovery plans to address and remedy on-time delivery risks or customer escalations related to delayed deliveries or field disruptions.
  • Act as the first line of escalation within the Supply Chain organization for the Advanced Frames business, resolving issues proactively and collaboratively.
  • Provide frequent executive-level reporting, including KPIs, budget performance, supplier delivery metrics, and material delivery risk assessments.
  • Support sourcing strategy development by providing forward-looking demand forecasts and coordinating with the Global Commodity and Strategic Supply Chain teams.
  • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and inventory control systems to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to company and compliance requirements.
  • Manage and develop the supply chain team, fostering a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and operational excellence.
  • Support the development and implementation of new processes, policies, and procedures required to enable the successful operation and scaling of the NX Advanced Frames business.
  • Implement and enforce policies, procedures, and inventory control systems to optimize efficiency and ensure adherence to company and compliance requirements.
  • Support the development and integration of software tools, data analytics, and reporting systems to enhance visibility, planning accuracy, and decision-making across the supply chain.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering, or Business Administration; Master’s degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain, planning, logistics, or operations, with exposure to manufacturing of steel products, solar, industrial equipment, or machinery industries.
  • Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional initiatives and managing regional or global teams.
  • Strong planning, forecasting, and inventory management skills, with emphasis on logistics.
  • Pioneering ability to collaborate across functions and communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
  • An analytical problem-solver with a proactive mindset and the ability to design risk mitigation and recovery strategies.
  • Advanced user of planning and data tools (e.g., Anaplan, Excel, Access, ERP systems).
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment with competing priorities.
  • Able to travel up to 25% of the time, including site visits, supplier coordination, and support activities.

Pay

The annual salary range for this position is $170,000 to $190,000 (Specific to California).
