Sr. Manager, Strategic Operations & Innovation

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Strategic Operations & Innovation to join the team of a leader in the Pharmaceuticals & Biotech space. This role will lead strategic operations and innovation initiatives that support business priorities across a complex pharmaceutical and biotech environment. The Sr. Manager will develop integrated plans, strengthen governance, and ensure cross-functional execution from strategy through operational adoption. This position will partner closely with business leaders, external vendors, and senior stakeholders to drive accountability, manage risk, and deliver high-impact outcomes. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available.

Responsibilities

• Lead execution of strategic initiatives to align with business objectives.
• Develop integrated program plans and manage project milestones.
• Drive program governance and operating reviews.
• Coordinate delivery with business leaders and external vendors.
• Manage cross-functional dependencies to ensure accountability.
• Create executive-level presentations and portfolio reporting.
• Identify and mitigate program risks and escalate critical issues.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 7+ years of experience in strategic operations and program management.
• Experience leading complex cross-functional programs with multiple stakeholders.
• Proficiency in creating and managing program roadmaps and executive reporting.
• Proven track record of driving initiatives from strategy to operational adoption.

Pay

Compensation: $126,000 – $210,000 annually
