The Sr. Manager, Security for the Kelsey Seybold Clinic (KSC) Enterprise, is a business-dedicated corporate security position that serves as a liaison to United Health Group Corporate Security. This position is responsible for the Kelsey Seybold Workplace Security Program, ensuring the protection of the company's enterprise workforce, physical assets, and facilities through a robust physical security program and proven risk management initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Manage the Kelsey Seybold Workplace Security Program
- Ensure protection of the company's workforce, physical assets, and facilities
- Implement and maintain a robust physical security program
- Develop and execute risk management initiatives
- Liaise with United Health Group Corporate Security
- Handle incidents and critical events effectively
- Manage security vendors and technology systems
- Navigate a large matrixed organization and provide leadership
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of relevant security experience in the private and/or public sector, including security risk management, intelligence, law enforcement, and/or military
- 5+ years of security coordinator or security supervisory experience
- Security experience in a health care setting
- Web managed security systems experience
- Demonstrated experience in managing complex security risks and operating in a domestic business environment
- Demonstrated experience dealing with incidents and critical events; ability to work effectively during emergency and crisis situations
- Solid knowledge base of Security Technology with experience in managing vendors
- Critical understanding of confidentiality and situational sensitivity
- Demonstrated ability to navigate high levels of ambiguity/uncertainty and make critical decisions rapidly
- Proven detail-oriented, good organizational skills
- Excellent leadership skills
- Proven superior problem-solving and critical thinking ability
- Proven solid leadership engagement, communication, and presentation skills, including personal briefings
- Proven superior interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of individuals at all levels of the organization
- Proven high levels of integrity and credibility
- Effective and intermediate use of MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate Degree in Criminal Justice or similar
- State of Texas Non-Commissioned Security License
- State of Texas Security Manager License
Pay
The salary for this role will range from $91,700 to $163,700 annually based on full-time employment. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc.
