Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of security engineers, fostering a culture of ownership and engineering excellence.
  • Own the holistic security roadmap, balancing proactive projects with security operations.
  • Be "hands-on" with critical alert triage, incident response, and detection engineering to maintain our security posture.
  • Partner with Product and Engineering leaders to implement "security-by-design," advocating for security investments that enable (rather than block) velocity.
  • Manage our CorpSec/IT functions, including onboarding, endpoint security, and compliance, ensuring these run efficiently and without friction.
  • Lead the way in securely adopting AI across the organization and product.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a strong IC in security or infrastructure engineering, with a track record of successfully transitioning into engineering management.
  • Deep technical fluency in at least one security domain (Detection, AppSec, or InfraSec) and the ability to contribute technically to code or design reviews.
  • Demonstrated ability to drive a complex security strategy across organizational boundaries (e.g., working with PMs/Product).
  • Operational discipline: You treat security operations (on-call, alerts, incidents) with a high level of rigor.
  • Startup agility: A low-ego, "roll-up-your-sleeves" attitude; you are a leader who executes, not just directs.

Pay

The projected compensation range for this position is $240,000-280,000.
