As Sr Manager Production Planning, you will manage production planning and inventory control functions, maximizing plant resources to meet or exceed planned results in inventory levels and operating costs. You will coordinate and expedite the flow of work and materials within or between departments and manufacturing units according to the production schedule, providing exceptional service to customers. You will also coordinate the monthly S&OP planning process within the supply planning function to ensure plants can communicate requirements and achieve forecasted demand.
Responsibilities
- Manage production planning functions, including the development, maintenance, and execution of the master production schedule, while maximizing plant resources to meet customer demand.
- Coordinate and organize manufacturing operations across multiple functional areas to ensure efficient production flow.
- Monitor performance against forecasts and production targets, identifying and addressing variances as needed.
