Job Summary

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Senior Manager to lead and inspire our talented team of Design, Configuration Management (CM), and Design Quality Assurance (DQA) teams. In this pivotal role, you will focus on employee development, project execution, and strategic planning, ensuring our projects are delivered on time, within scope, and to the highest standards. The scope of work includes new product development, product transition to production, and heritage product sustainment in a DoD environment.

Essential Functions

  • Manages and coordinates design, development, and enhancement of new and existing products/product lines.
  • Manages the evaluation of design feasibility and design optimization.
  • Evaluates issues, provides resolution, and communicates to stakeholders.
  • Led and directs the work of other employees and has responsibility for personnel actions including hiring, performance management, and termination with concurrence from HR & General Managers.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Employee Development: Mentor and develop a high-performing team of Engineers, Designers and Configuration Management Specialists; foster a culture of continuous learning and professional growth.
  • Project Execution: Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of materials as it relates to the projects the team supports.

Required Qualifications

  • Required education and experience: Associate's Degree and 7-8 years' experience OR Equivalent Combination of Relevant Education &/or Experience
  • Critical professional related technical skills; computer skills: Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Preferred education and experience: Bachelor's Degree Discipline/Major: Engineering Design or other Engineering degree

Pay Range (USD)

$116,705.00 - $157895.00

Additional Compensation

Hired applicant may be eligible to participate in the Company’s Gain Sharing Program.
