Director, Total Rewards

Performance Objectives

  • Compensation Strategy & Design
    • Own and evolve the global compensation philosophy
    • Lead the annual compensation planning cycle
    • Design and maintain salary structures, job architecture, and career leveling frameworks
    • Conduct regular benchmarking
    • Support the SVP of HR in preparing compensation materials for the Board's Compensation Committee
    • International Benefits
      • Oversee benefit programs across all international locations
      • Lead the design, renewal, and vendor management of international health, risk, retirement, and supplemental benefit programs
      • Drive harmonization efforts across geographies
      • Manage international benefits budget planning, vendor performance scorecards, and renewal negotiations
    • US Benefits Oversight
      • Provide strategic oversight of US health, welfare, and retirement programs
      • Ensure annual open enrollment is executed efficiently
      • Maintain compliance with US regulatory landscape
    • Analytics, Reporting & Compliance
      • Build and maintain compensation and benefits dashboards
      • Lead pay equity analyses
      • Support global mobility and expatriate assignment compensation structuring
      • Ensure compliance with compensation reporting requirements
    • Leadership & Team Development
      • Lead and develop a small team of Compensation Analysts and/or Benefits Specialists
      • Foster a culture of operational excellence and process automation
      • Partner with M&A team to support benefit transition and compensation reviews

    Competitive Candidate Profile

    • 8+ years of progressive experience in compensation and/or total rewards
    • Hands-on experience administering international benefits programs
    • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable recommendations
    • Proficiency with HRIS platforms and compensation management tools
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
    • Demonstrated ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-stage or PE-backed technology company

    Preferred

    • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field
    • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or Global Remuneration Professional (GRP) designation
    • Prior experience in a SaaS, technology, or energy sector company
    • Familiarity with Mercer, Radford/Aon, or McLagan compensation survey participation and analysis
    • Experience supporting M&A due diligence and integration from a Total Rewards perspective

    Salary Range

    140,000-190,000 base per year, plus bonus 15%
