Sr. Manager - Manufacturing Dispensary and Logistics

About the role

As a Manufacturing Leader, you will provide support to a process team, focusing on safety, quality, and manufacturing performance. You will supervise the Dispensary & Logistics within manufacturing, ensuring production timelines and department goals are met. Responsibilities include process planning, scheduling, coordinating interactions with other groups, and assigning daily work tasks. You will also hire, develop, coach, and train manufacturing operators in the Dispensary & Logistics area.

Responsibilities

• Ensure production activities comply with cGMP guidelines and follow all documentation and standard operating procedures.
• Set priorities, execute processes, assign work, and reprioritize as required.
• Provide support to the process team per Manufacturing Standard for Operational Excellence - 602.
• Lead daily meetings, set priorities, plan processes, and assign work.
• Act as a liaison between Process Teams and frontline Dispensary & Logistics staff, including Supply Chain and raw material logistics.
• Ensure cGMP compliance, validate production and dispensary/logistics equipment, and maintain procedures in a validated state.
• Monitor shop floor metrics to ensure Operational Excellence in safety, environmental, and quality performance.
• Provide input for revisions of standard operating procedures and batch records.
• Conduct periodic verifications of procedures and ensure they reflect best practices.
• Review technical reports and conduct or support deviation investigations.
• Ensure production equipment is properly maintained, areas are inspection-ready, and processes meet quality standards.
• Serve as an area advocate in cross-functional meetings and champion company policies.
• Communicate safety, maintenance, operational status, and employee-related issues to management.
• Influence decision-making to achieve timely resolution of issues.
• Measure and appraise operator performance against job duties, objectives, and goals.
• Provide feedback, recommend merit increases, promotions, hires, and terminations.
• Train personnel in manufacturing processes/operations following cGMP guidelines.
• Mentor and coach staff with honesty and integrity.

Requirements

• Legally authorized to be employed in the United States; Celltrion does not anticipate providing visa sponsorship for this position.
• Flexibility and ability to make critical decisions 7 days a week.
• Must wear clean room attire and meet physical job requirements, including:
  • Lifting a minimum of 25 lbs.
  • Bending, reaching, stretching, climbing ladders, and working in tight spaces.
  • Standing for long periods.
• Bachelor’s degree in biology, chemistry, or a related discipline, or a high school diploma/GED with a minimum of 7 years of relevant work experience.
• Minimum of 2 years of relevant experience (with a Bachelor’s degree) or 7 years (with a high school diploma/GED).
• Prior experience managing people or leading teams preferred.
• Project management skills and strong communication, conflict resolution, and decision-making abilities.

Pay

This exempt role offers an anticipated compensation range of $109,500 - $146,000. Candidates will be placed within the range based on experience, skills, internal equity, and market considerations.
