About the role
As a Senior Product Manager, you will play a critical role in shaping the strategy, adoption, and measurable impact of enterprise data platforms that power business decisions and client experiences.
Responsibilities
- Define vision, shape multi-year strategy and roadmaps, and drive adoption of data platforms that improve usability, enable better decision-making, and deliver measurable business value.
- Translate complex business needs into scalable platform solutions, align priorities across stakeholders, and ensure investments generate meaningful outcomes and ROI.
- Partner closely with senior leaders, engineering teams, analysts, and platform users to bring clarity to complex problems, influence direction, and move initiatives from concept through execution.
- Lead working sessions, support prioritization and decision-making, manage risks and dependencies, and establish the rhythms, metrics, and stakeholder engagement needed to advance platform initiatives.
- Bridge business and technical teams, strengthen adoption, and continuously improve platform value across the enterprise.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in product management, business systems, software delivery, or related technology role.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and critical thinking skills and demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and make sound decisions in a challenging environment.
- Ability in translating business needs into well-defined data products, including defining product vision, target users, use cases, data domains, and required capabilities in partnership with business, analytics, and engineering teams.
- Developing epics and user stories, defining acceptance criteria, and ensuring alignment between business intent and technical implementation.
- Define and communicate product vision, strategy, and roadmap for IT products, platforms, or business systems.
- Driving execution and delivery discipline by maintaining road maps, backlogs, and dependencies in JIRA and Confluence and Rally, while actively managing risks, tradeoffs, and stakeholder expectations.
- Championing adoption and value realization by working with business partners to enable onboarding, track usage and outcomes, and continuously iterate on products based on feedback and performance insights.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, legal requirements, safety standards and knowledge of data privacy, security, compliance, and change management considerations in technology environments.
- Serve as a subject matter expert for assigned data platforms or domains, helping business teams understand how to leverage data products to advance analytical and operational needs.
- Manage escalations, resolve team conflicts, and foster a professional, inclusive work environment.
- Experience working with cross-functional technology teams in Agile, Scrum, or similar delivery environments.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, Business, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Strong understanding of product lifecycle management, backlog prioritization, roadmap planning, and requirements gathering.
- Familiarity with software development concepts, APIs, integrations, data flows, and system dependencies.
- Proficiency with standard business software and reporting tools.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, Rally, Bruno, Co-Pilot or other AI tools or product analytics platforms.
