About the role
Reporting to the Vice President of FP&A, this key role on the Peacock finance team is responsible for the planning and reporting of NBCUniversal's Peacock streaming business financial results. The role provides an opportunity to join the NBCU Media Group and gain an in-depth understanding of the Peacock streaming business. You will be an integral member of the team analyzing results and modeling future revenue and expenses to support Peacock’s growth and expansion plans.
Responsibilities
- Forecast, report, and perform strategic analysis of NBCUniversal's Peacock business.
- Develop high-level financial models and analysis, including dynamic financial models.
- Analyze budget/actual variances by digging into details to understand root causes.
- Own and manage the master planning file across all planning cycles, ensuring accuracy, timely updates, and automation improvements.
- Assist in the Long Range Plan and Budget processes, including analyzing business unit operating plans, reviewing budget proposals, and maintaining support files.
- Aggregate financial and operational insights for NBCU’s Corporate finance team in preparation for pacings and quarter closes.
- Support the Vice President, FP&A in preparing Media Group and Corporate FP&A data submissions for the Peacock business.
- Foster collaboration and streamline processes across internal Peacock teams to gather insights for weekly reporting and monthly financial pacing reports.
- Ensure timely preparation and presentation of financial statements and reports, including income statements, balance sheets, cash-flow statements, and variance analyses.
- Assist in the ongoing administration of the BPC reporting tool, building push-button reporting for managerial views and consolidating submissions.
- Help prepare PowerPoint presentations for senior management, including pacings, estimates, and operating reviews.
- Manage a team of one individual, providing leadership, coaching, and development opportunities while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 5+ years of finance or accounting experience, with a focus on Financial Planning and Analysis.
- Experience with executive presentations and solid proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with ERP systems, such as SAP/BPC.

Schedule
This position has a hybrid schedule, requiring in-office work a minimum of four days per week. The Company reserves the right to change in-office requirements at any time.

Pay
Salary range: $110,000 - $145,000 (bonus eligible).
