About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr Manager Federal Government Affairs to join the team of a leader in the Healthcare space. This role will lead technical initiatives focused on scalable systems, platform reliability, and meaningful business transformation. You will work across engineering, product, operations, and business stakeholders to translate complex requirements into practical technology solutions. The position offers the opportunity to influence architecture, execution quality, and the technology capabilities that enable long-term growth within a healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the execution of the company's federal government affairs strategy
  • Build relationships with Congress, federal agencies, and healthcare stakeholders
  • Monitor federal legislative and regulatory developments in medical technology
  • Develop advocacy strategies for Medicare, Medicaid, and health policy issues
  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams on government affairs initiatives
  • Identify and drive legislative opportunities for the company
  • Mentor members of the Government Affairs team and enhance departmental capabilities

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree required; advanced degree preferred
  • 10+ years of experience in federal government affairs or related healthcare advocacy roles
  • Significant experience with healthcare policy, reimbursement, and FDA-related issues
  • Established relationships within Congress and federal agencies
  • Proven track record of leading complex policy initiatives

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Compensation: $156,400 – $260,600 annually
