Sr. Manager, Engineering

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, Engineering to join the team of a leader in the Real Estate & Construction space. This leader will oversee engineering strategy and delivery for a technology organization that supports a large-scale real estate business. The role will partner closely with Product and Delivery teams to shape priorities, define scope, and manage execution risks. This leader will also guide architecture decisions, strengthen team performance, and help create an environment where engineers can do their best work. Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available Compensation: $135,000 – $234,000 annually Responsibilities Craft a technical roadmap that aligns engineering teams with business strategy Collaborate with Product and Delivery partners to prepare project scopes and identify risks Guide system architecture design and documentation Foster a collaborative culture that encourages individual creativity Coach and mentor teams to support career development and performance improvement Measure and improve engineering team performance Support teams in delivering technical projects with accountability Qualifications 7+ years of professional development experience 3+ years of recent experience managing or leading an engineering team Experience in an agile development environment Deep understanding of software and development engineering principles Technical expertise in JavaScript, database technologies, AWS serverless, CI/CD, or Salesforce Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent work experience Benefits Competitive pay and annual bonus program Generous PTO including vacation, sick time, and holidays 401(k) with company matching contributions Casual dress code and a positive work environment Team events and a culture that values connection Career growth paths and learning opportunities Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
