Sr. Manager Demand & Supply Planning
Job Summary
We’re looking for a Senior Manager, Demand & Supply Planning to lead the integrated planning function for a high growth business division, Hestan Culinary. This role owns both demand forecasting and supply planning, ensuring alignment between commercial plans and operational execution.
About the Role
This role drives forecast accuracy, inventory optimization, and service levels by connecting Sales, Marketing, Supply Chain, and Finance. It also leads the S&OP/IBP process, builds scalable planning capabilities, and manages a growing team.
Responsibilities
Demand Planning & Forecasting - Own the end-to-end demand forecasting process across all channels (eCommerce, retail, wholesale), develop and maintain short- and long-term forecasts, define KPIs, and track forecast accuracy.
Supply Planning & Inventory Management - Translate demand forecasts into supply plans, manage inventory health, and optimize working capital.
S&OP/IBP - Lead the monthly S&OP/IBP process, facilitate cross-functional decision-making, and provide scenario planning and recommendations to executive leadership.
Demand Generation & Commercial Alignment - Partner with Marketing and Sales to incorporate promotions, product launches, and campaigns into forecasts, and ensure demand plans reflect commercial strategy and revenue targets.
Tools, Systems & Capability Building - Own and optimize planning tools, build scalable processes, and identify new tools and advanced analytics capabilities.
Performance Monitoring & Continuous Improvement - Track and report KPIs, drive continuous improvement initiatives, and identify risks and opportunities.
Qualifications
8–12+ years of experience in demand planning, supply planning, or integrated business planning.
Experience in consumer goods, retail, or eCommerce (durable goods like cookware preferred).
Proven track record leading S&OP/IBP processes.
Strong understanding of both forecasting and supply/inventory planning.
Experience with planning systems (e.g., SAP IBP, Oracle, Anaplan, NetSuite, or similar).
Demonstrated experience managing and developing teams.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.
Benefits
The position is remote w/ some travel to our Vallejo, CA campus. Salary range is $120,000 to $150,000, DOE.
