About the role

The Sr. Manager, CMMC Governance will be responsible for overseeing the implementation and compliance of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) framework across all business units within the organization. This role requires a deep understanding of cybersecurity standards and regulations, as well as strong leadership skills to drive change and ensure adherence to CMMC requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and guidelines for CMMC compliance
  • Oversee the assessment and remediation of security controls to meet CMMC levels
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on CMMC objectives and strategies
  • Monitor regulatory changes and update compliance processes accordingly
  • Provide guidance and training to employees on CMMC best practices
  • Lead audits and assessments to evaluate compliance with CMMC standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in cybersecurity or IT governance
  • Proven experience in managing and implementing CMMC frameworks
  • Strong knowledge of NIST 800-171, DFARS, and other relevant cybersecurity regulations
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to lead and motivate a team towards achieving common goals
