Title: Sr Manager Category Procurement Location: Abbott Park, IL ( Remote) Duration: 7 Months Remote Skills 7-10 years of Procurement and/or deep Category experience.Some functional experience.Good organizational skills, including program/project management governance.Strong communication skills (written and verbal) Strong interdisciplinary, intercultural, influence, and networking skills.International experience Deep knowledge of markets by regions Experience with Supplier management Ability to develop actionable implementation plans Relevant business process knowledge, as related to Procurement and Category Management.Extensive knowledge of category technologies and products.Strong influence and negotiating skills.Experience leading teams - both with direct staff and indirect project teams. Education BA/BS or equivalent experience required: MBA preferredLead procurement & sourcing activities for Information Technology Category (Software and Services). Develops and implements procurement plans and strategies to support business needsLead projects/initiatives that have significant impact upon regional and global business.5-8 years of Procurement and /or deep Category experience.Successful, 3+ year track record within procurement and supply chain managementCertified Professional in Supply Management (CPSM), Certified Purchasing Manager (CPM) or similar certification desirable Project Management Professional (PMP) or similar certification desirable.
