About the role

The Senior Manager, Building Facilities manages complex functions of building operations and maintenance for assigned facilities, ensuring compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Produces and maintains various facility management reports.
  • Oversees management of capital projects.
  • Researches and implements new processes and technology to improve operational efficiency.
  • Reviews budget reports and identifies opportunities for cost reduction.
  • Inspects facilities periodically for quality assurance.
  • Identifies existing and potential operational problems and makes proactive recommendations.
  • Administers appropriate disciplinary action when necessary.
  • Provides mandatory and prompt response to emergency situations.
  • Establishes and continuously assesses the effectiveness of internal controls and compliance with University policies and procedures.
  • Ensures employees are trained on controls and University policies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a relevant field.
  • Minimum 7 years of relevant experience.

  • Financial Oversight: Knowledge of financial operations and management.

  • Technical Proficiency: Skilled in using office software, technology, and relevant computer applications.
  • Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey ideas clearly and persuasively.
