Sr. Manager, AI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE)

About the role

For our client, we are seeking a Sr. Manager, AI Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) to join the team of a leader in the Enterprise Technology space. This role will lead a high-performing team focused on delivering complex AI engagements for enterprise customers. You will partner closely with Product, R&D, GTM, Field Engineering, and Sales to translate technical strategy into customer outcomes. The position combines executive-level customer advisory, cross-functional alignment, and scalable execution to support AI transformation efforts across strategic accounts.

Location: Remote - US based candidates only, no visa sponsorship available

Pay

$232,900 – $320,200 annually

Responsibilities

• Lead and build a high-performing AI FDE team
• Facilitate collaboration between Product, R&D, and GTM teams
• Cultivate relationships with executive-level customers as a trusted advisor
• Coordinate strategic account delivery with Field Engineering and Sales
• Drive strategic AI initiatives and scalable processes
• Manage OKRs related to AI-services accounts
• Represent the organization as a thought leader in the AI space

Qualifications

• 5-7 years in AI/ML team management
• Proven ability in scoping and delivering complex enterprise technical engagements
• Strong technical foundation in AI/ML with cloud deployment experience
• Experience influencing executive stakeholders
• Expertise in driving AI transformations within enterprises
• Graduate degree in a quantitative discipline or equivalent experience
