Job Responsibilities
- Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on overhead cranes, hoists, and lifting equipment, including inspections, lubrication, and component replacement.
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems related to cranes and shop machinery.
- Maintain fabrication shop equipment such as welders, plasma cutters, compressors, and grinders.
- Congduct facility upkeep—repairing doors, lighting, ventilation systems, and other infrastructure as needed.
- Keep accurate maintenance logs, inspection records, and service reports in compliance with OSHA and manufacturer requirements.
- Collaborate with production teams to schedule maintenance with minimal disruption to operations.
- Identify opportunities for equipment upgrades, safety improvements, and cost-saving maintenance practices.
Job Requirements
- Proven experience in industrial maintenance, with a strong focus on overhead crane systems.
- Knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and crane inspection requirements.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work independently under minimal supervision.
- Welding and fabrication skills are a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work at heights when servicing cranes.
