About the Role
Join the CPC - Performance Pipe team in Knoxville as a Senior Maintenance Operator within our Polymers & Specialties division. This role is vital to the operational excellence and reliability of our facilities. You will maintain and enhance equipment performance to support our commercial business objectives, working closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering and operations. Responsibilities
- Manage, determine, and implement Maintenance plans and Spare Parts Strategies.
- Identify risks associated with any assigned work prior to execution.
- Identify improvement opportunities and basic defect elimination in day-to-day work.
- Perform weekly work order updates with supervision to maintain an active backlog of jobs.
- Utilize measuring instruments and diagnose and make general repairs to production equipment.
- Inspect parts, replacements, alignment, balancing, installation, and refurbishment on a wide variety of equipment.
- Assist with new installations and other projects as requested by supervisor.
Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED and a valid driver’s license.
- At least 5 years of related experience.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics, diagrams, and blueprints.
- Positive attitude and ability to work efficiently while adhering to plant safety requirements.
